I do run the ad block and so far I've not seen ads on the photobucket account. Not sure if that is the reason why. I do access mostly from PC, not sure if that makes a difference. I'll be watching them to see if it changes. Maybe they just didn't get to my account yet.

I have used it for years for free. Can't blame them for charging for their service. Bummer that I have to spend days bringing those photos into my new computer since most are held on my old/antiquated/pain in the butt computer.

Nope it didn't work. The posted photo was here for a few minutes and now has been replaced with "Please update your account..." They want $400 a year to allow 3d party posting. Time for a new photo hosting site.

Let's see if this photo stays...I am getting the offer to upgrade when I sign on, but not a ton of ads.
