Finally got around to taking pics with the bling bling added - looks a bit more personalized now:

When we wear out a set of tires I'm thinking Patty's wheels would be a nice next mod.

Raymo, that black looks very nice. I see Crosstours on occasion but they are usually silver. Tell me about those window thingies you put on. What's their purpose? Do you use them to have the widows open when it's raining?

Dean, I still have the RAV4 for sale. I've dropped the price to $22,900 and have one guy interested. He lives in Ventura and on Friday said he was interested in two other RAV4s, also. Keeping my . I have it on AutoTrader, Craigslist, NSXPrime, S2ki and an ad up at the hospital I volunteer at. I had a transferable 6year/100,000 mile warranty on it but finally signed a cancel order on it last Tuesday so I'll get a prorated refund. It didn't seem to be helping me sell it at all and I should get a few hundred dollars back. BTW, I'm in Vacaville right now, visiting my daughter. I'm not far from you.

Thanks. The moon roof visor is to keep the air out and the window visors keep out rain and deflect the sun.

Well, if you don't open the moonroof, doesn't that keep the air out?

I sold the RAV4 today. I met my buyer at his bank, watched him get a cashier's check, deposited it in my credit union, and then we came back to my house and he took the RAV4 home. I didn't get as much as I had hoped for but $22,900 from him, and another $583 for the refund on my cancelled extended warranty, isn't bad for a total of $23,483. CarMax offered me some where around $19,000 for it. I'm officially an all Honda girl again.

The Kawasaki motorcycle in the garage doesn't count as it's not a car.

Didn't you have over 100,000 miles? If so, I think 22900 is pretty good. I paid less than that for my Rav4 Sport with less than 10,000 miles, one year old. Doesn't have leather, but I think it has about everything else on it.

No, Dean. I had only 31,689 miles on it. It also was a Limited, with leather V6, 4wd, best stereo...

Car and Driver had registered a 6.5 0-60 for the 6cyl. Rav4- one of the reasons I went for it. Pretty much the quickest in the class under the $40's when I bought it ( 2007 ).
