This is for Jerry. He mentioned his mower wasn't cutting evenly and realized his tire was very low. It is easy to forget to check them. I put a reminder on mine. The 195 is the next hour mark to change the oil and the 14 & 10 are the tire pressures; I try to check monthly.

Jerry if you really want to get anal you can do this. Park on a flat floor, set deck to high setting, pull plug wire, align blades and check height. I use a 3x5 card to push against the the blades to measure from the floor to the blade. Works great. Just did it this AM. I checked both the deck (blades aligned and measure both ends) and also each individual blade at both ends. The right blade was off 1/8" from side to side and the left perfectly flat. I am cutting my grass this year much lower than in the past, 2-3/4". So an uneven cut is really easy to spot. .... Oh, make sure your tires are all at the proper pressure before doing.

I always have to check my mower tires. We have enough locust trees around that some of the tires look like stuff out of a cartoon. One has 6 plugs in it now lol. It has gotten better since we moved and have done lots of yardwork but I still occasionally pick up one of those thorns in the tires. Anyone have a good recommendation for a tougher tire? lol

You mean your mower doesn’t have TPMS sensors?

It is a John Deere, so if it did they would require you to bring it into the shop to reset them after you air up the tire ......

I like pink flowers, so we have pink begonias, and pink vinca (flowers not vines). They are annuals. Neither of those plants needs maintenance and do well over the summer. I generally don't care for white flowers, BUT, I bought a small pot of white sun patiens. They really are popping on the gray deck with white railing. Nice and bright. I also bought some red sun patiens. They look good, but not as good as the white. They don't seem to tolerate the sun as well. I also bought a nice begonia plant to put on the back table near the dark green shrubs. That one is really popping against the green and the blooms are nice and big....hold on, I'll go take a couple pics....

White sunpatien

Begonia nice large blooms.
