Our friend, tomcatt

It is the next day since I read the news of Tom's passing. I am still very sad and Tom is still very much on my mind.
I think the best tribute we can pay to him is to learn something from him, and to use his last months as an inspiration. Tom was brave, Tom was a fighter and Tom never, ever gave up. To the end Tom carried himself with dignity. I think those are lessons that we all need to learn from him.
Tom will live forever within all of us. Any time the fight gets hard, any time I think I want to give up I will think of Tom and the example that he set. And those memories will give me the strength I need to carry on.
It was an honor to have known him and to have been his friend.

It is very touching to see the vintage S2K people sharing their memories of Tom. I too had looked forward to meeting Tom at the WG meet next month. My wife Carol and I want to offer our sincere condolences.
Sincerely,
Carol and Glenn

You know how when you go to bed with something on your mind, when you wake up, that's the first thing that comes to mind.
Today was one of those days.

Specific ideas on what to do would be appreciated.

This is such sad news. Tom, you will be missed. Hilly, my sincere condolences.
I was constantly overwhelmed and inspired by his courage, spirit and straight-forwardness regarding his situation. Because of that alone, he should've been granted immortality.
Phil.

Legal Bill will start a thread for a Vintage donation to the American Cancer Society, unless we hear a different preference from Hilly.

Jonas, is there any chance that it could be the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Tom, like Lance, exemplifies the struggle against cancer; and the motto Live Strong!. Just a suggestion...
