Rob, Lainey, Jonas, Matt, Hilly, Kim, Sam and Valentine, I am honored to make these ribbons for you. I will make them until I run out of ribbon, and with 13 yards, that should be around 30, given that I will mess some up. I bought all they had. I tried puff paint and it works better.
Patty,

Thank you for doing this. But I am confused by your comment?

You should be honored in making the ribbons for Tom and Hillary. I guess that I am just being my normal anal self. My only contribution was the suggestion to tie them around the shifter. As if they are on the atenae we will not see them and other people will not know what they mean.

On the other hand, if we put them on our shifters, it will be a constant rememberance of Tom every time we shift. and they will last longer as they will not be exposed to the elements as much.

I should be honored? Isn't that what I said? I am, truly. What are you confused by? You are confusing me, Matt. I said people can do with them whatever they want to. I will put pins on them, so they can be pinned to a shirt but I will also have strecthy thread on them so people can tie them to their shifters or visors or cut off the thread. It's the owner's choice.

Thank you Marco, Deb and Levi.

I was looking at the list of names of people going to Spring Fling. I figure about half of them knew Tom and would want a ribbon. I wish I had enough for wives and husbands too. I know Rob would like one and he won't be a SF, so I will mail him one. If anyone else really would like one, and you aren't going to SF, PM me your address so I can send you one. Of course, I'm saving some for Tom's daughters and Hilly.

Patty - if I recall, Rob should be up for the day (don't remember if it was for Friday or Saturday)...

I'll see you on Saturday. I'm not sure of what time. I'm going to try to make the laps.

^Very good, Rob. I'll probably be taking pictures there with the new camera I finally bought, like Tom's, after he showed his to me at Spring Fling 2004 .
