One of those days

Gee, Dave. I think you should just stay in bed for a day or so until that black cloud goes away.
Here's to a better day soon!! Hope the meds are working. I'm sure the Jim Beam gives them an extra boost.

The drug mix isn't that unusual. I've had similar combos when the asthma/bronchitis rears it's ugly head. The Jim Beam, well that's to ensure sleep, who cares if it diminished the effectiveness of the antibiotic, I think that's an old wives tale anyway, right Dave?

My doctor when prescribing the antibiotic said it was fine to take Claritin and Mucinex together as well. As for Mr Beam, I didn't ask the doctor cause I get enough lecturing from +1. BTW, I usually never take drugs for anything and didn't for the first week or so.

Here's a story about dog crap for ya. A friend of the family was an LAPD detective who loved to play practical jokes. He walked into the office one day, said, "What's that smell?" and picked up his feet to look at the soles of his shoes. There was some gunk stuck on the bottom of one, at the heel. He used his finger to swipe it, tasted it, and said, "Yes, that's what I thought, dog shit."
He had put some pumpkin pie filling on the shoe at home.

Have you old folks received your flu shots yet?

Actually, I did get a flu shot - maybe the second one in the past 10 years. I was at the doctor for an annual and he talked me into it. You know what, that was only a week or two before I started getting this! But, I am 99% sure I can thank +1 for this one. And, I am feeling better. That means I can have another Beam. Hope you too, Lainey, are recovering quickly.
