I'm off to upstate NY this week, and see that it is unseasonably warm (high 80's) with thundershowers there. I am gonna be so sick - in a little over a week, I will go from hot and dry (Phoenix) to hot and humid (upstate NY) to cool and dry (Yellowstone).

Yesterday we topped 98. We are now above 96 and we should be climbing for another couple of hours. The pool isn't even that great with the sun beating on you.

But it's better than winter.

This is better than winter, but once again, too much too soon. I'm hiding in the AC, but my excuse is that the grandson is napping, so I need to be inside to hear him when he wakes.

We've got 89 degrees here today, two more days of the heat than back to the 70's which is where I like it these days.

[QUOTE=silvershadow,Jun 8 2008, 09:04 AM] My mom and brother live in Temple, TX and have been complaining about the temperature and humidity.

69 degrees and sunny, with a nice breeze blowing off the ocean in San Clemente today. It was the perfect day to see the car show downtown.

It was a little bit warm here today, too. At 4:33 pm right now, it's a breezy 78* on my back patio. We already had three spells of record breaking heat though, in the past two months.
