You are correct. Syd Barret went insane and was institutionalized. He had schizophrenia I believe.
Neal was one, as was Peter Coyote. I can't remember for sure (I took the test ), but I seem to recall that Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg were also members of the Pranksters.
