Very good. I didn't think anyone would get the name of the canoe.

Kate Hepburn played Ethel Thayer
Henry Fonda played Norman Thayer Jr.
Jane Fonda played Chelsea Thayer Wayne.

An aside the canoe was purchased by Wayne Newton.

Next Question.

The song "American Pie" was about the day the music died. Who wrote/sang the song? Who were the "three that I admired most"? What was the day the music died? Bonus question, who was the jester and who was the "girl who sang the blues"?

I had help on this one.No, not from Google! LOL...Rick my husband. Don MacLean sang it...he admired the "father, son & holy ghost not sure who he was actually referring to. The day the music died was when Buddy Holly died. The jester was Mick Jagger...girl who sang the blues? Janis Joplin is a guess.

Very good. Yes, Miss American Pie was rock and roll music. The jester was Dylan. I think Mick Jagger is the reference to the devil having released the album Sympathy for the Devil.

Ok

What year did the music die?

Wayne Newton paid $19,200 for Gertrude.

Next Question:

The Woodstock Festival didn't take place in Woodstock. Where was it held and on whose farm (this should be an easy one).

Nope, Saugerties, New York is right outside of Woodstock. It is where the "Big Pink", the house in which The Band recorded their first album, "Music from the Big Pink", is located. Many musicians passed through Saugerties, but it was not where the three days of music peace and love took place. It was not the home of the original Woodstock Festival.
