Default OK Vintage, lets see how good your memory is.

I'll post the question, lets see if you remember and can answer.

Question.

Egon Von Furstenberg died yesterday at the age of 57. Who was he? Who was his wife? What are they known for?

She was from that family, but what was her first name? Her fashion designs and her line of ready to wear womens wear went on to outsell Egon's designs. After the divorce she kept the name Von Furstenberg. What was her first name?

^ Yep - she was mainly known for the wrap dress, which has made a comeback. She had two children with von Furstenberg, and has been married for some time now to Barry Diller. Her daughter, Alexandra, followed in her footsteps as a designer. How's that for trivia???

I never would have gotten those answers without doing some research. Then again I'm not into fashion, unless we're talking Levi's and T's

Very good. Ok, next question

The estate of the late Katharine Hepburn was auctioned at Sotheby's for the sum of $5,856,100. Among the items auctioned was, for the sum of $19,200, the canoe from the 1981 movie "On Golden Pond". The questions for today are:

1)What was the canoe's name in the movie?
2)What character did Kate play (name)?
3)Who played her husband and what was his name in the movie?
4)Who played their daughter and what was her name in the movie?

I can answer some of these. Only because I saw it on TV recently, I know the ane of the canoe was named "Gertrude". Henry Fonda played her husband, don't know his character's name, Jane Fonda played the daughter, not sure of her character's name either.

Remember people who are Vintage often have good memory from before.....it's the "just happened and the 'just, just happened" that we can't remember.....Like "Why did I just walk into the kitchen....what was I coming in here to get?"
