I loved all the Yosemite pics. Thanks, Jerry & Patty. Yosemite is on my bucket list to visit. Not sure if I'm up to all the hikes, though.

Wow!

I really like the brilliant colors--both the fall colors of the trees and the colors of the cars!

Uh, did you say strenuous? As in, harder than the stair hike to Vernal Fall? Oh, yeah, count me in!
^^ It's rated "strenuous" because it's steep (2800+ft of climbing in 3.2 miles). However, it's not a technical hike. The views have to be spectacular!

I have a hard time believing that the "Work-out Nazi Girl" would opt out of doing something just because it's a little strenuous. However, I know hiking is not your thing.

I would much rather be hiking outside than working out in a smelly gym.

Thanks guys. That picture surprisingly enough was taken using an iPhone4. I was dumbfounded to see the result. My friend that took the picture said that the iPhone had an app for enhancing pictures and I'm guessing he did that.

I don't like the gym. But that's a lot of climbing. I'm not that ambitious. I love hiking but like less vertical terrain.

^^ I agree, that's a lot of UP! And coming back down would be hard on the knees and quads.

Maybe a hike up to Glacier Point, and ride the bus back to the Valley.

have you two ever hiked from the rocks (at el toro and laguna canyon) down to the beach and back. On a clear day that hike and ocean view is amazing...
