Glad you made it home safely. I'm just getting ready to go to the airport to fly TO Colorado. A friend is picking me up at the Durango airport, and I'll drive the jeep while I am there.

I honestly hope I NEVER see snow again. However, I do not judge those who like it.

I think I could live to the end of my days and not be unhappy if I never saw snow again.

It's a nuisance.

Try not to complain about snow too much. It is very important to keep our water tables up and the spring flowers really appreciate the water that snow brings them. (although, last winter was a bit too much!)

Since moving to snowless area is not in the cards, all I can do is complain about the snow.

Not to worry, all my complaining won't change how much snow falls and it won't affect the water table either.

Nancy wanted me to take some photos of the family before I left for her Christmas card. These two were my favorites but I'm unhappy that I managed to take ^this one out of focus.

It's a nice, cool fall day here in the Mid-Atlantic, so I took a couple of shots of our house to show the fall colors:

Our Westie flag & mum basket on the lamp-post:

The front of the house showing the mums that Bea picked out ($4.00 each!) & I planted:

See all those leaves on the trees behind, beside, and in front of the house? I'll be taking care of them for the next 2 months. That's the part of fall I hate.
