Here's a B&W of my two remaining dogs, Maya (left) and Wallace (right). The B&W photography really highlights their age. I lost my other dog, Darwin, while I was recovering from my leg surgery last year.

Nice pic Dean, but I prefer to imagine you looking like your avatar.

Was Darwin the dog that didn't like people much? Except for you?

If so I liked him. He reminded me of me. Except for the fixation on you of course.

No, that's Wallace. He doesn't like strange men. Which explains his attitude toward you.

Darwin never met a stranger. He loved everybody.

I've been visiting my sister, Nancy, and her family, this week in Falcon, Colorado, just outside of Colorado Springs. I love hanging out with them and being in Colorado.

^Here are Nancy and me last night, before we headed out to a seminar on Retirementology.

^Today, we drove up to the entrance to the Pikes Peak Road. They wanted $40 to drive up the road so we opted for the parking lot with a few yellow Aspen trees, instead. This is Nastia, Nancy and Vova. Nastia and Vova were adopted from the Ukraine by Nancy and her husband, coming up on three years ago. It's been quite difficult for all four of them but they are doing well.

^Here I am with Nastia and Vova.

^ This photo just makes us . We were at the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, just checking out the place. It was gorgeous. My sis has been there many times but it was my first visit.
