The weather was beautiful here in Virginia today. Mid 80's with relatively low humidity made for a lovely day. Therefore it was a bit surprising that more cars did not show up at the "drive-in" that I frequent. There were the usual suspects but only two cars that were picture worthy in my opinion.

The first was a very nice 1964 Porsche SC

The second was a new offering by a local guy in Gainesville, VA that owns a hot rod shop that brought his latest offering for sale. An 800 HP Willys coupe. Priced to sell at the bargain price of $69,900.

If anyone is interested let me know and I can put you in touch with this guy.

I for one just don't get this type of car?

^ I do. You took a picture of it. It's all about getting attention.

think of it not as a car but as art.
art requires no functional purpose other than to provoke an emotional response.

Went to Pittsburgh Cars & Coffee yesterday with the Pa. group. We were well represented with 8 S2000's and one NSX.

pics, Sam

This is what I did yesterday. I took the grandkids to a celebrate summer party at a friend's house. The kids had a blast.

I'd bet Maury has one of these and no I didn't try it.
