I think our HC II motel is around the point somewhere in that first pic.

Nice pieces Gene.

My only thought is that the Jagermeister Girls would look more at home with the Mustang that did not have an OEM paint job.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice pics, all. Cool birds, Deb. Beautiful scenery, Patty. Nice car pics folks.

Gene your pics look particularly sharp today....The grass in one pic looks like it's right in my face...different camera?

to Dana Point,
When we lived in Huntington Beach we used to like to go to the Ritz Carlton at Dana Point for Happy Hour. Sitting in the lounge on the cliff overlooking the ocean was nice with the added bonus of people in their para gliders sailing past the windows just about thirty feet away is a special memory of living in Southern California.

Nope...same camera/lens I've always used.

True, but one of them asked me if I'd like to get lei'd, and I couldn't resist having them pose by the NSX!

Well I made it to two car meets today. This afternoon I went to the Burger King meet in Manassas VA. Unlike the Cars & Coffee meet which is in Great Falls, an upscale part of the DC Metro area. Those of you that drove on Sunday after the Spring Fling 04 event may remember this "economically deprived" area of Northern Virginia with it's multimillion dollar homes.

The afternoon meet is about thirty miles south west of Great Falls which is closer to NASCAR country. The Burger King draws a wider variety of hardware. You can decide for your self as you compare the pictures from this mornings Cars & Coffee meet to the ones from Manassas.

I will start with the closest thing to my S that was there. A "tuner" Celica.

Those of you that have viewed my photos from this "drive-in" over the last year or so know that this is closer to what shows up.

But today this topped off the Keg (not cake).

According to the owner it will do 50 MPH. It will also do a rolling wheelie if one grabs a handful of throttle. The good news is that it is NOT a swivel bar stool. It has a disc brake if you notice. But I think that the center of gravity is a bit high.

The motorized bar stool definitely wins today's award for the most unusual vehicle!

To make it more interesting he was inspired by a local guy in Manassas that has a motorized remote controlled baby stroller that he spent $6,000 on to build.

As the old staying goes: The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.

BTW, the Bar Stool was on a trailer being towed by a classic Ford pick um up with a Cleavland 351 (built) motor in it.
