This makes our summer cottage maintenance sound like a piece of cake! You're lucky to have the two local guys who help out. Gettysburg cottage: I have to call our local plumber every second year re: a leak somewhere (due to trapped water freezing), but otherwise the maintenance is pretty much limited to fixing a rotted wood step, etc. This spring I had to fix a railing and plastic gutter...due to a large pine branch falling in an ice storm over the winter.
Then, of course, there WAS the deck replacement in summer 2009....
I'm surprised you didn't catch me swatting at the mosquitoes in the meadow. They sure took the joy out of it in a hurry.
