Amazing! The snow of Saturday is almost gone. We can already see the grass and the streets are clear. The bird bath is back in business too, though I need to freshen the water. As you can see, in the pics above, the deck was covered in snow. Tonight Rick will be cooking chicken on the grill for dinner, as the deck is clear.
This was my kind of storm. 12" of snow on Saturday and most of it gone on Tuesday.

Lainey - Great photos but, that is to much snow for me. I see the grand kids are enjoying the snow. Allen and Lisa are in Jamacia this week for a winter break. I am planning on coming back up the week of March 10th. I play reverse Snow Bird, so hope the weather will be good then.

I didn't take these photos but I doctored them in Photoshop and want to share them. I'm sure everyone's heard me talk about my baby girl and how she's working as a zookeeper in the Sacramento Zoo after getting her BS in Animal Science at UC Davis. Last week was the annual flamingo roundup, so the vets could give each of the approximately 40 flamingos a check-up. It might look like Christa has a choke hold on them but she's not choking them. It's just the proper way to hold them. She looks so happy. She'll be 25 in 10 days. My baby girl.

Yes, Gene, she loves her job. Jerry, she told me it can take 3 washings to get the mud out of her clothes sometimes. She's never been afraid of mud. I can picture numerous times when she'd be playing in the dirt or jumping in the mud as a toddler.
