^^ The FR-S Scion at Cars & Coffee was a GReddy slightly modified version of the Toyota. IMHO, the Subaru BRZ (which I saw at the LA Auto Show) looked MUCH better. I guess it depends on your definition of "sports car" Dave, but Motor Trend says "The BRZ has the same sweet-natured nimbleness as a Mazda Miata or a Porsche Boxster." I'm anxious to see the drop-top version. At least Toyota and Subaru are working together to offer a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive, 6-speed, fun car for under $30k. Too bad Honda dropped the ball, but their attempt would probably be fugly anyway.

Nice pics, Patty. I'm out of the automotive news cycle, so I didn't even know about the Scion. Cars and Coffee in December while wearing light jackets, never happens around here.
Val, our little Ryan is growing too fast. He's doing well in kindergarten and of course, already learning to read. I remember when kindergarten was more social and learning the alphabet. Times have changed, for the better in that department!

My older sister also went straight to first grade.
I remember playing with little letters and banging sticks like drum sticks, and lots of coloring.
Thanks, Dave. We think he's kinda cute too. He also has charm. Lots of it.

My little granddogs came to see me yesterday. I'll post a few more pics later, but for now just a couple. This one is Mae Mobley snuggling with my daughter in Granddad's recliner. Granddad was displaced:
