Yep, the photobucket link works fine, Jim. Not sure how you are linking your pics to a post. I just click on the IMG link below the pic, which copies it, and paste it into my posting here. So far, so good.

Thanks. I should be OK, I think. I'm going to be meeting two grandchildren I haven't met yet. And it has been a number of years since I've seen my youngest daughter, so this is all very exciting for us.

Car pics............for a change!
We headed to Foxboro, MA for the car show at Bass Pro Shop tonight. The place was unreal! We overhead someone say it was the biggest show they had ever had there; 2500 cars, parking lot after parking lot of cars.

Ran into a couple people we knew. A cousin's ex along with her husband #4 (I think ), they were showing a car, also ran into a guy with a 1934 (or was it a '38) Chrysler. He bought a Mopar performance engine for it from Rick years ago. He's had the car since 1956. Should have taken a pic. He's done a great job with it.

I did take a few pics. Went for the different stuff and cool paint jobs.
Nice Chevy Nomad. It was lowered. The vanity plate: LOMAD.

Look at that engine compartment

Nice paint job:

This is the underside of a hood on a Chevy

No need to pack lightly on a road trip in this car

This engine was in a Miata

This car was attracting a ton of attention

Rent a race car! 17 dollars a day, 17 cents/mile!

Beautiful paint jobs = cool reflections and

A GT6 was parked next to this. A GT8? Someone must think it needed a V8

Great summer evening. Walked around for almost two hours. Dinner at Five Guys which was still hopping at 8:00 PM!

Nomads are COOL.

As are the "real fire" flame jobs."Rides" was the best car TV show ever (even better than Top Gear); one of their best episodes was about Mike Lavalle (sp) and his "real fire" flame jobs. Magnificant work!!!!!

That's what we heard, Gene. They opened another parking lot that was not normally used for the car show. It was so far away from the main area, you couldn't hear the DJ or the music.

We thought we had covered most of the show, then, when leaving saw more cars that we had missed.

I think so too Ed. I love the Chevy's of the mid fifties. Saw some beautiful early model Corvettes too, there was so much to see!
