^^ Just a small correction: It's Tenaya Creek that runs from Mirror Lake and joins the Merced River near the North and Lower Pines campgrounds. 
We packed a lot into just a couple days in Yosemite. Everywhere you look there is breath-taking beauty
...anytime of the year. It's definitely one of my favorite places on Earth, and we had a great time!

We're in Canada, Levi. We're going over to goat island on the US side this AM.
Here are a few more from the Maid of the Mist boat ride. The boat gets right into the falls. The power of the falls is amazing. We got soaked even with the raincoats on. When we got to the Canadian side, it was like we were standing in a rainstorm with the water coming at us. Lots of fun. I kept my good camera away from the water, and used my older pocket camera. I took the battery out to recharge it last night and it was damp!

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. I have not been there since I was a kid. We did not do the Maid of the Mist but we went down in the tunnels behind the falls. Do they still operate them?

We went down in the tunnels behind the falls, and also on the observation deck on the US side. I just finished a couple of slide shows for easy sharing. I'll post them shortly.
