Odds n Ends Vintage Photos VII

I took my new bike to a deserted parking lot, clipped in and rode around, this evening. Then I slowed down, tried to get my left foot out and fell over, still clipped in, onto my left hip. It happened so fast that I don't know exactly what I did but my left wrist hurts. Jerry took me to the doctor and my wrist was x-rayed. Doctor said he saw a suspicious area, although no breaks, and is referring me to an ortho. My new toy got a little scuffed up, too. Crap. The weather is perfect for a new bike but my wrist will keep me off for now.

For some reason the seller was having a problem selling them
I had to move up to 17" because finding proper quality tires in the right 16" sizes has become impossible
I was only interested in Honda OEM wheels with perfect offsets
I have never liked the AP2V1 and V2 wheels, too many spokes, way too many spokes, so the CR wheels were my only option
I have fallen in love with dark/bright bronze for my wheel color ever since I powdercoated my JDM 16" in that color
I knew no matter what CR wheels I bought I would have to have them powdercoated to my color
Because of the color and because they had been on sale for a while, I got a great deal, the wheels are in perfect condition and I got all 4 of them for a grand total of $690.00
They are at the powdercoater now, and as soon as I get a confirmation the Hankook R-S3 is available in both sizes I'll be placing my order for sizes 215/45-17 and 255/40-17.
These things will look amazing once I get them on the car in my color, it's called Bronze Chrome, and it's stunning, it's described as "Bronze / gold with a gold metallic finish" but it is way more bronze than gold, the gold is just a tiny flake in the bronze color, very brilliant, very complex and deep.

Now keep in mind, I do color corrections for a living, color is my thing, I have a heightened awareness to it
I have to confess, I love the color of the wheels as they are, I could never put them on my car, but the color is amazing
The magenta color you see is what they look like in the sun, in the shade they are a dark purple
The color travels, it's so amazingly complex, a photo cannot capture the depth
It's really cool, but, alas, not for me
The wheels though, they are flat out awesome and I can't wait to get them on my car, in bronze

Most excellent!
That is a perfect example of what a cat needs
For me, I just cut down a Maple tree and brought a 5' section of the trunk inside and bolted it to the corner in the hallway
I have scratch marks on it up about 18" from Gizmo, and another set up about 42" from Ganzo

If she claws at the rug, I tell her no, and lead her to the post. This AM (after I was up) that worked well and she started scratching at the post.
She didn't bother with the other post as it was too short. They do like to stretch out.

She's doing pretty well with it. It's 30" high. We tempt her with some cat toys and cat nip. Early AM we heard her scratching and I'm pretty sure she was using the post vs my rug.

What I did to get Ganzo started was tied some string to the top of the tree trunk
As he jumped to get to it as a kitten he had his claws out sort of climbing the trunk, that got him started
Now of course all he has to do is stand on his rear legs and he is up to the same height, about 42"
