OMG it was like having a new baby. She would not settle down. She was running around,(not that babies run around) playing with a "mouse" and it was after midnight. Finally at 1:00 AM, I put her in a carrier, almost dog size. She settled down. At 3:00 AM I felt guilty about having her in there, let her out, only for her to continue her partying...back in the carrier she went.

New "babies" are a lot of work.

Oh, thanks, Val and Raymo. Her coloring/marking is different from any cat we've ever had. We thought it was cool.

If only you could stuff kids in a carrier when they annoy you, I might have had one Apparently that's frowned on by other parents though

She's adorable Lainey, I'm sure she will settle down once she gets used to the household and how things work. She's young too... another year and she'll be more interested in sleep.

Kitty is on my lap for the first time tonight. It hasn't taken her long at all to feel at home.

IF I were looking to adopt another cat, this one would be right up on the top of the list. I've never seen such an unusual cat. It looks as if she was painted half and half. Notice the color on her front paws is opposite what is on her face. Cool kitty!

I was playing with a couple photos and artistic filters in Photoshop. I can/do waste lots of time with that.

^Some new ranunculus I bought.

^Posterized ranunculus.

^Original photo. My first rose bud this year.

^Photo with ink outline filter from photoshop.

^Photo with Poster edges from photoshop.

^Photo with Watercolor filter from photoshop.

I'm so glad that Thelma is already a lap cat. As I type this at 1:08am, Zoro is on my lap.

Wow, that's a weird looking cat! I'd like to see it in person. It is the most unusual coloring I've seen.

Neat pics, Patty. I think I like the original rosebud, and maybe the last one with the water color filter.

Do you have the full version of photoshop or the Element version?

And yeah, that kitty is cool looking. I have to stop looking at her picture.

Lainey, I have Photoshop CS4. When I took a class in Photoshop we had to use the full program available at the time. I'd like to take the class again this year, if it's offered by a different teacher.

The photo class I went to has a class in photoshop element, the less expensive program. That would likely be enough to do what I want to do with my pics. Maybe I'll check that out in the fall. I don't want any commitments right now. At the moment, I'm just hoping for some good weather and some time to find some interesting opportunities. With work and time with the grandkids, free time sees to be in short supply.
