Even though I'm a dog owner, I really like our next door neighbor's cats, whom I occasionally take care of when he is gone: Boo, a black cat, Lucy, a black and white cat, Chase Utley, an orange cat, and Chelsea, an old lady Tabby. They all love their treats. (All but Chelsea were strays who decided that my neighbor's house was a good place to take up residence.)

Here are a few photos from Lake Tahoe. Jerry and I flew from LAX to Reno, Nevada, and then got a rental car and drove over to South Lake Tahoe, for the 4th of July.
^The view of Lake Tahoe from our balcony.
^Margarita time.
^Our day time, view.
^Jerry on one of the hotel's cool freebie bikes. We rode about 15 miles on them, through the forest, on bike trails. Next time we plan on renting some.
^Jerry and me at the waterfalls above Emerald Cove.
^Fireworks on the 4th, over the lake.
^Another of fireworks. I bought a Nikon Coolpix S8000 just before this trip and used the "Fireworks" setting for these. Came out half-way decent, although a tripod would have helped.
^Jerry took this one of me at Sand Harbor. The water was cold.
