Yes, he and his wife both work in Boulder. He's at Google and she's a professor of Economics at University of Colorado Boulder. Their home is in Niwot, a cool little town north of Boulder. They're in Texas for a few days.

My Patty’s sister has a house in northern Boulder but they won’t be there for two weeks.

Patty, I see that fire around Boulder is called the NorWood fire and has caused some evacuations. I hope you don't have to leave your son's house!!

I think it's called the Cal-Wood fire. I should be fine here. I'll have to get out of bed and see where it is now but it was burning the mountains and coming down to the flat land in ferocious warm, dry, winds yesterday.

From the Daily Mail...
"Archaeologists have discovered an etching which depicts a giant cat on the hillside of a Peruvian desert (pictured). The new Nazca Lines etching is 120-foot long and is about 2,000 years old. Known as a geoglyph, it is one of hundreds of images etched into the sand in Nazca, Peru, which were officially 'discovered' in 1927."
