Today, it's just a stiff because it's a bit swollen always. The pain in the knee area is unpredictable and usually not bad but I don't want to move wrong. I had acupuncture last Wednesday and then drove to Aspen at 8,400 feet on Thursday. It was quite swollen and even my ankles were Thursday and Friday. That doesn't happen to me. I ice it and take ibuprofen. The elastic brace is just for a bit of support.

^10-7-2024. I booked the top right third floor condo with iTrip. They have some places in Colorado. I will use them again. I started with VRBO but they had shady practices and I'll never go with them again. Notice all the stairs just from the parking lot? Then we had to climb to the third floor, at 8,350 feet. Ice chests are heavy without a climb.

Up above where you posted the impressions of the MRI, it says arthrosis, not arthritis. They are similar but not exactly the same.
The impressions of your MRI says:
"Complex medial and lateral meniscal tears as well as arthrosis with areas of cartilage loss in the medial and lateral compartments as described above."

Maybe it does not really matter.
I will let you do the research.
Please report back what you find.

arthritis is the blanket term denoting joint inflammation.
arthrosis denotes a specific osteoarthritis.
note, they all ****ing hurt.

Sue, how is Josie doing? Is she back at school and work?

She started back to nursing school on schedule in the fall and has a job at the school, tutoring and mentoring other students. She recently did an interview with me, as an "elderly" subject for one of her nursing classes.
She is getting along okay. However, that pressure ulcer on her heel is quite bad. She is having a procedure on it next week. Involves a graft of some bovine (cow) tissue, or something like that. She has a week off next week for fall break so that is why she scheduled it then.
I will spare you pictures of her heel. Take my word for it, it looks very bad.
She has been very busy with classes, job, lots of doctor appointments, physical therapy, allergy shots and more. A lot to handle for her. However, they recently told her to stop the physical therapy for now because of her heel.
