I've had the opportunity to go to Greenland but I would have had to sign up for 6 weeks at a time.
I declined.

Paso Robles! Close to my old stomping grounds at Naval Air Station Lemoore near Hanford.

(Except for the first one-B767 sky pig) Really nice airplane to fly. I was a long stage commuter living in Sacramento but working in Detroit Michigan.

Reflection in Terminal Glass coming in at Rome Italy

On final at Rome's airport. Landing to the north.

Night shot of the cockpit.

Downwind to approach to Honolulu. Diamond Head.

Classmate buddy of mine in Alaska. Has a dozen airplanes and hangers. Wife could not believe what a man cave/hanger he has! The float plane here is on one of his homes with a private lake in Anchorage.

Yours truly a few years ago before the gray hit.

Super Cub.

Anchorage International Airport and Seaplane base. My buddy keeps 3 planes there.

One of his hangers at the airport he owns.

My wife blown away but she loved the bush plane flying trips.

My buddy moving one of his planes from maintenance to his hanger for flying.

Yes, yes and yes! When I was based in NAS Pensacola Florida as an intermediate/advanced jet flight instructor, we used Key West all the time especially for carrier training. We got to stay out in town instead of the base as the base was not great for quarters. I had an account with a bike shop for my "conch cruiser" bike for getting around town. I had my favorite (Mr Rodriguez) cigar maker there and great nightlife and food. Did a lot of scuba diving there with the free time. We would turn in our per diem checks to the favorite bartender and tell them to let us know when we ran out of money, LOL!
