Last night was my youngest grandson's HS graduation. 2.5 hours. It was held outside because of the nice but really cool weather. It was down to 55° when it ended. There was several people who didn't get the message it was going into the 30's by the end of the day and they were in short sleeve shirts. Here's a shot of the field and one of my son and grandson. With his good DNA (hahahah) he had a cum laude GPA of 3.453 which was really good considering two years of COVID that put a lot of pressure on working from home.

Congrats to your grandson. Good looking kid. Did you end up attending? Graduation ceremonies can be trying except for the moment your loved one gets their diploma. My son's graduation was also held outside on a HOT, HOT day. It was a sad day too, as two of his classmates passed away in an auto accident just a few days before.....

I did attend because Donna assured me it would not last 3 hours which is what the school calendar said. Hahahaha. Only 2.5 hours, of which 2.4 hours was boring.

I hope you didn't expect a graduation ceremony to be 2.5 hours of excitement.

I'm sure your grandson appreciated your presence and your present!

Took a walk this morning at the marshy/beach area one town over. I don't usually get out with the camera in the AM, but no gym today and it was nice out. Nice light.
A ruddy turnstone nice pose in nice light. I really need to take more photographs in good light....still not ready for sunrise pics though....

A willet with wings up.

Saw this vehicle (in sad shape) at the Aerodrome in Rhinebeck, NY. Rick is thinking it's a Morgan. Comments?

This may be my favorite pic of my trip so far. Love the color and creativity.
