The granddaughter asked if I'd take photos of her in her cap and gown. Graduates with a BS in Nursing in a couple weeks (with high honors) if I've not mentioned this before. We picked a couple spots to take some creative (I hope) photos. While I much prefer wild life photography, she's pretty special to us, so I agreed to take some photos. I hope I don't disappoint her and I hope to share a couple here. If I do, don't be alarmed by her pink hair. I am so not a fan, but she's had it colored that way for a few years.

She is smart enough to know that pink hair may not fly at the job interview on Friday and has a wig she wore while in clinical training......She really likes the pink hair!

 

We had our little photo shoot. It was nice and cloudy this AM, but the sun came out and presented me with challenges. We had fun though. What I lack in photography skill, I add in love when taking pics of her. The young lady stole our hearts from the day she was born. Thanks, Sue. I would prefer more of a pastel, but she likes it and is often complimented on it. It was nice on the grounds of the mansion today. People were passing along congratulations to her and one woman said she wasn't sure which she loved more the pink hair or the pink shoes.

 

Well, Lainey, of course I noticed the very pink shoes, too.

l am not really a fan of the hair or the style of the shoes either.

I guess I am showing my age.

(Our 19 year old granddaughter, Josie, sometimes wears a nose ring! I am so not a fan of that! Other than that, though, she is a great kid.)
