Dinner at our house.
Here's the spread... Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed, Sweet, 2 different ways, Brussel Sprouts 2 different ways, Lasagna, Mac and Cheese plus Cranberry Sauce
Then the family... Cindy and Me, My Aunt Edna, Hannah and Neil, the newlyweds, my Sister Marcie, other Sister Eva and Brother in Law Ed (with Marcie), our cousin Paul, my Mom, nephew David and my MIL. Finley the lab is hunting for scraps already.
Tight space, but we move some couches and tables, and we fit 12 people ok.
Tomorrow, we trade my MIL and cousin Paul for 4 cousins (Edna's son, wife and twins) for brunch - so 15. They all then leave an another cousin and her family come out for leftovers and we've back to 15. We expect all day to be very casual, eat on your lap stuff.
Mom heads to Florida Wednesday, so we make sure to get a picture whenever we've got the family together. As you can see- the food is serious, the attire, not so much.

This pic popped up on FB today. I remember how thrilled I was to see the reflection in the instrument, and happy to share a couple copies with the musician. This was taken during a "Holiday Stroll" in the historic district. It's scheduled for next Saturday, weather permitting and the brass band will be playing again. Hoping to head down there with a Y lady or two. Maybe I'll find some Christmas spirit.
