Gorgeous scenery at a brewery

Beer for Rick, root beer for me. The brewery also makes the root beer and it was "on the house." Tasty!
People around here always say New York 'STATE' when they are referring to the non city part of N.Y.

Pic taken from car. These people must be happy campers.

The Netherlands Carillon in the evening. You can really see the outline of the bells.

One more from the vacation. Nice reflection on the Cayuga/Seneca canal.

We've had 5 straight days of overcast skies and rain, so during that time, Bea decided to paint the front door. With the sun shining brightly this morning, I decided to take a couple pics of her handiwork. Oh, I had a heck of a time getting the dead-bolt-lock reinstalled. What should have been a 15 minute job turned in to 2 hours. I Googled to see if I could find any suggestions, and found that Schlage had redesigned it the year after it was first installed due to the poor design. Ugh.

I wasn't sure about the color, but it has grown on me.

Here’s what it looked like before (taken last December) FWIW.

Looks very nice gene, I regret not getting the storm door when we replaced our front door.
I should figure out if we can do it now.

I've got a wooden screen door that my original landlord's husband made thirty plus years ago. My Dad helped me fix it up a few years ago it's nice to have on a day like today to let the crisp air in.

Gene, I like the color a lot. Very nice. The first photo, the sun and shadows looked like there was saran wrap over the door. Then I realized what it was.
What does a glass door do in front of your door? Functions?
