Odds and Ends Vintage Photos XI

Given that it was close to 60 degrees, I had to go out and see what critters might be out there. Last winter I saw a larger variety of ducks, this year not so much. Went to my usual haunts, but it was very windy so the birds must have been in hiding. One last stop on another area of the local river and I spotted this guy. Not a colorful pic with the mud/muck and gray skies, but I always love seeing the Great Blue Heron. I must have taken 50+ pics, just because. I kept hoping he'd fly off and I'd catch that, but he was just standing around. I got tired of standing around too, and headed home. Here's one shot anyway.

Just a variety of shots from our recent trip to Cabo San Lucas. I'll eventually get around to processing the batch and putting an album out there. Enjoy!

Just before 6AM, setting out to fish
Sunrise at the Arches
Just saw one of these flying Mantas. Only got one click off at him.
While fishing, saw a few whales
The sea lions know the boats coming into harbor have bait to eat. They literally jump up on the back of the boat.
Caught two dorado. Brought it to a place for dinner. Had some sashimi, a platter for eight of us, and still had leftovers to use the next day
The Arches, mid-day
Cabo Real Golf Course
Friday night, we had dinner overlooking the arches for a sunset dinner. This is what we started with
and this was just after sunset
Cindy did some snorkeling. It was way too cold for me. She used the underwater camera we have. here's a school of fish.
And a lone one just swimming around
