Beautiful! May I ask, what camera setup did you use?

You may…. It’s a Nikon Coolpix W300. Probably 3 years old?

Did a quick browse through of pics from St. Lucia

First pic is most of the units at the resort. You'll see in the panoramic there's a bunch to the left as well. We were one of the 4 units in the 2 buildings alone on the right side (just above/left of the blue building). We were the only 8 units on that level and were on a dead end street. From the street to our entrance way (4 doors in a row), it was 37 steps down. Then, the outside 2 units (the bottom ones) had another 10 steps inside. The upper two units I suppose had 10 steps up to their unit. The bottom 2 had private pools, the top 2 had hot tubs. The resort has hotel like rooms, villas (1, 2 3 + BRs), houses. Rentals, Timeshare, Private Ownership. Every unit faces west towards the water.

The landscape is more pronounced than it might look. From the blue house to us is probably about 50-75 feet of elevation over about 300 feet total distance. Even walking DOWN to the junction in the road was a chore in the heat. (Resort map here: Resort Map | Windjammer Landing | Saint Lucia) We were in 213. The resort had 3 or 4 shuttles - you called and they came to get you. When done, they brought you back up.

Thanks for sharing, Gary. Quite the hotel set up. How long has the hotel been there? We were on a hotel on a beach, don't remember seeing that hotel in our tour.

About 30 years I think. It was in Gros Inlet, between Castries to the south and Rodney Bay to the north.

Barb and friends are going on a 4 day quilting retreat in NH.
I love to tease her about her logistics for the trip. This just her stuff.

It appears she left a lot home this year.

I decided that hiking is a good alternative to riding my ElliptiGO and Devil's Backbone Open Space is less than 4 miles from my house. I hiked there last Wednesday and today, starting at about 3:30 PM and finishing in the dark. Here are some photos from various times.

^5-25-2021. Spring is a lot prettier than late fall and winter.

^1-7-2021. Starting out on the path.

^1-7-2021. This is called the "Keyhole".
