YUMMY! Tabs of butter and brown sugar on newly made oatmeal. On a cold morning.

I have tried brussel sprouts wrapped in bacon. Not even that made them palatable.

I love brussel sprouts but they rip my intestines a new one. I can't tolerate much roughage. I'm missing some enzymes I think.

The squirrels continue to win against the Blue Jays in the "war for the peanuts."

I had a real treat today! I rode my ElliptiGO 23.4 miles with 1,670 feet of gain, to Horsetooth Mountain Park, near Fort Collins, CO and I enjoyed it, but the best part was this deer who came to me and touched my hand when he sniffed it.

^12-22-2019. This deer wasn't afraid of me.

I was intrigued that his antlers are not even. One has three points and one has two points.

Very cool that you could get so close, but not sure it is good that he was not afraid of you. Maybe someone has been feeding him. Also looks like he has injured one ear in the past.

Sure he was looking for handout, not handshake. Very cool. He was certainly tamed.

Are there hunters around there? When is deer/bird hunting season? Or maybe elk in CO, too.

EDIT...I checked and all those hunting seasons are over for the year as of early Nov - the legal ones anyway. That deer must know it.

I am guessing that the deer who I see in this parking lot are used to handouts from the residents across the street. Most of the mule deer I see during a ride will take off if I stop to take photos when I'm not even close.
