That would scare the H out of me! I hear of too many accidents with those things.... we have dozen here every year.... I enjoy seeing the sky full of them.... but that is it!

I've been up in the air several times thanks to a couple who own two balloons and also flew the local RE/MAX balloon before they moved to California a couple years ago. Both were excellent pilots who were extremely safety conscious. None of the flights were at all scary (and I don't like heights, as a rule). We even did a splash and dash a couple times, dipping the bottom of the basket on the surface of a large farm pond. Never came anywhere near any power lines, of course. As to safety, I am more concerned for my safety driving around New Orleans or Atlanta.

I do not like heights and I was a little nervous for the first five minutes but after that I had no problems. It was a beautiful flight and I would do it again in a minute. The pilot was very professional (this was his 1770th flight) and explained everything that was going to happen.

However, my little eyes still spied nice scenery. Cell phone photo will have to do.

I recognize that brings back a lot of memories

^7-28-2021. This is the first time since Feb 2020 that all of us have gotten together, which has almost been a year and a half. We all live in northern Colorado but Covid made my son and daughter-in-law extra careful as they tried for a pregnancy. My daughter is in front, my prego(!) daughter-in-law is in the green Google shirt with my son holding her baby belly, my daughter's boyfriend is on right, and my ex-husband, his honey and the honey's daughter in the center back. It was a toasty 99°F. My ex made bison chili which, surprisingly to me, I loved. My daughter made yummy corn bread muffins and I made deviled eggs. We were full before we had cake I made and ice cream. Oink.

^It was perfectly done. White cake with chocolate frosting, kind of to celebrate all the birthdays we've missed.

Everyone looks good! The girls seem to have gone to the same hairdresser.

Patricia I think it's great that you can all be together now. I know it wasn't an easy road. The grandchild (!) will make things even better!

It looks that way but Brittany's is self-done all that color. My daughter's is very colorful and was professionally done.

Yes, the grand son! They won't tell us the name but it starts with a "J". My son is a new person now days. The stress of trying for a pregnancy has been relieved.

I would call that enjoyable, not stressful.
