Cindy and I took a ride today. My sister is in town with my nephew who's moving his first apartment post college - he graduates Temple with his Masters of Accounting and his CPA right behind it in August. Starts at Deloitte in September. We thought they'd need some help, but were able to handle it themselves so we we're off the hook.
So, we left the house and headed North, our typical direction. South from us is boring, puts you in the NJ Pinelands and unless you're headed towards Philly, AC or another shore destination, is pretty flat and just ehhhh. Took some roads we hadn't been on before, crossed into PA near Easton and headed South. In total, ended up with a 120 miles or so on the odometer before getting home.
Pretty soon after getting out of Easton we got behind a C7 Corvette in white, and this absolutely stunning Aston Martin. No badges on the back and the only noticeable badging on the sides was a small V12 emblem behind the front wheels. We followed them on the same route home for about 50 miles before they went right, and we turned left to cross back in NJ. Unfortunately, most of the road back is 35 or 40 mph, and there's generally someone doing the speed limit, especially later in the day. In the morning, the route is often pretty empty and gives some opportunities to drive a bit spirited.
I never got a look at the front, but checking the net, I think it's a DB11. We also saw a C8 Corvette on the way home, in some absolutely hideous gold like color.

A few photos from last week's vacation up north near Traverse City.
This was totally nuts. The cabin next door shot off "60 minutes" of non-stop fireworks. We ended up all saying, Please stop, Enough is Enough.
Grand daughter was thrilled to catch her very first ever fish.
Her parents at the sand dunes
My son. He was only able to bring his youngest son as the other two had to work.
