Nice pics, Lainey! At first I thought the first lighthouse pic was the one we stopped at during the Nor'easter we attended in 2008 (?) but then I saw it was in Maine.
Now you have me craving a lobstah roll!!!

Edit: Found the pic of the above mentioned lighthouse, which was on Cape Cod. Similar design.

Spring is finally here! Lilacs are at their peaks or close to it.

This is Lake Loveland, in Loveland, Colorado. It is used for irrigation by the city of Greeley, so it goes down as the summer and fall come. It's full right now, once again.

^4-18-2021. Low but coming back up.

^5-25-2021. Full!

^5-25-2021. Full and spring is here.

^5-25-2021. I love seeing the snow capped Rockies with the lake.

^5-25-2021. The boat ramp for the few who live on the lake.

^5-25-2021. Spring, finally!

Patty, those spring pictures are very nice. You live in a beautiful area in Colorado.

Thank you for sharing the pictures.

Patty, I like that you like where you live, and enjoy being out and about!
Gene, Yep, you were in Falmouth, MA at Nobska Light.
This AM I took a few more pics of yesterday's lighthouse in Portland. Here's one from a different perspective that I was happy with.

One more of the Nubble, taken with the camera.

On the subject of lobster rolls...so many options. Our old pal, Dean, originally from ME was of the opinion that a lobster roll had lobster meat, butter, the roll and it was served warm. Nothing else was acceptable. Some don't mind a little mayo or some kind of dressing, celery, spices on the lobster meat, but not much mayo, served cold. I like that option The two that I had were both the mayo type, though the one from today could have used a bit more mayo and spices. I actually put a little bit of Rick's Cesar salad dressing on the lobster today. It needed a bit more "zip." Sometime the lobster is sweet, other times not as much natural flavor. One hates to be disappointed when shelling out (no pun intended) $25.00 for a sandwich.

I personally agree with Dean. Nothing but lobstah, buttah, and a wahm bun!

Thanks, Dave. I think I need to print this one. I got lucky. We took a second trip back to that lighthouse before we left. Most of the pics, were not share worthy, light was wrong, then we walked to the other side of the park, where we hadn't walked the day before, and I snapped this one.

Was the restaurant named Jackie's Too or Jackie O'S?

We were at the Oarweed. The two you mention are down the other end near the bridge. There is also Barnacle Billy's across from the Oar Weed.
