We headed to Framingham, MA today. About 1 hour and 1/4 away. Garden in the Woods. We were a bit early in the season to see much, but enjoyed the time there. Only a one mile path so kind of a long distance for a one mile walk. But I did get a picture of an ant on a flower. Not quite as focused as I hoped. Click on the pic it looks better. Stopped at an old cemetery too. Most interesting grave "stone" by one "occupant." A mill stone!

Love where you live, right?
Today two of the Y ladies and I hit some trails a couple towns over. Nothing all that long, but nice scenery, including the view below. That is on a property of a dairy, make fancy blue cheese. They invite people to stroll on the property during the week. Also some private homes, so we could only look at the little beach, not hang out there. By the end of the day, I had 15K steps, and indulged in a lobster roll with fries for lunch and ice cream after the last two walks. A most pleasant day in retirement. Gorgeous day!

We really do appreciate where we live. We had water views at three of our stops today, and there were two more options we skipped. An Osprey flew by with a fish in it's talons. Always cool to see but I was not ready with the camera.
