Thanks, Dave. That's what I think....maybe the photos with this lens (in this case) draws the eye in. There isn't a whole lot of drama, with the pics I've taken with the lens, but there can be, according to some internet research. I need to research more, get creative, and of out my comfort zone of always wanting to zoom in.

You wanted to see more? Here's a couple more. One from the same fort as yesterday's pic, and one of a pier at another fort. I think they draw the eye in. Oh, I know, you wanted to see more in the photo!

Well my routes are all over the place. Where ever the road takes me!

My roots are in TN. May father was born and raised in Lynchburg, TN. I still have family there.

Out of my comfort zone, trying to get creative. You artsy, creative people, I welcome your comments. Keep or toss? We have a couple beautiful buildings in the next town over. Click for better pic!

Keep the first, toss the second. You need the lacey metal in the photo. I like it.

Rob, first one is Fort Taber in New Bedford, used to be called Fort Rodman. They made nice walking paths, installed the pier, it's a popular place. The second one is Fort Phoenix in Fairhaven, MA

I had a good weekend. I had a convertible group drive Saturday morning followed by a nap, my son and daughter-in-law visiting, with some news that made me whoop and cry. That's all I'm allowed to say, and then an 18 mile long ElliptiGO ride. On Sunday I did another ElliptiGO ride of 20 miles but I dragged my toes the entire way. I am so F****** tired. I think it could be related to the 6th day after my first Pfizer vaccine but I don't have a clue. I feel fine except for being so F**** tired. I wanted to get in a 30-mile ride today and I barely squeaked out 20 so I'm hoping tomorrow I feel better to get the 30 miles in for the extra points alloted to it. At least I had a great time with my cats today. The high was 81° and it was delightful outside except that it was a little hot for me riding. I got my shirt wet in a public bathroom twice.

Glad you had a good weekend. I can imagine news that would make you whoop and cry, and I'd say this was news you did not expect to receive. Didn't think fatigue from the vaccine would linger that long, but with all those rides on your "GO" who knows?
