Does that red one at the beginning of your shots have a top, or is it for sunny days only?

No top. I looked it up online and it said it was designed so the air flows over it but you must have to stop at red lights still.

So Patricia wasn't the only one with "beach weather" around here. Another gorgeous spring day. I hit the road with my camera trying out the wide angle just to see what I/it could do. I like it. Will try to find more interesting subjects. Stayed local this AM near our harbor walk and along side a small island with a light house. This afternoon we took a top down ride to the beach. Nice walk, a few photos and no winter coats needed! Grabbed from FB. Click for better pic.

I never went to the beach, Lainey. It wasn't warm enough and I was busy with my cars and riding my ElliptiGO 113 miles in four days. I'll be lucky if I get 50 miles this week now that I'm back in Colorado.

Hi Patricia!
Our beach day wasn't an official Cali warm beach day either. I was wearing a fleece jacket, a fleece sweatshirt, and long sleeve shirt. However, given it was March in MA, I was pretty happy to be at the beach and not freezing my A$$ off.
Glad you had fun in Cali.

Some cars and coffee are starting to happen here, but we're not too into it. It's often between 8-10 on a Sunday and often an hour away. You've got some interesting cars in Cali.

Made for the crop sensor 10-22 wide angle zoom. Canon EFS10-22 f3.5-4.5 My 100-400 is still the favorite, but I can see carrying this one around too. I enjoyed using it today.

I bought it from Julius from the S2000 New England group. He's not into the hobby any longer. He also had some extra lenses on hand that he used to rent out. I bought my 50 mm and the 100-400 from his as well. Know anyone who wants a Canon macro (not sure which one) or a 135mm prime?

Pok/Jim's wife also bought a 100-400 from Julius. She then decided it was more lens than she wanted to carry around. She was looking to sell it...if you know anyone.
From the internet:
This exciting zoom lens provides ultra wide-angle coverage to the EOS 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 60D, 70D, 7D, 7D Mark II, & Digital Rebel series DSLRs. Equivalent to a 16-35mm zoom, it offers excellent performance and optics designed from the ground-up for digital SLR use. Three Aspherical lens elements, plus a Super-UD element, assure image quality. Its ring-type USM means fast and silent AF along with full-time manual focus. It focuses as close as 9.5 inches.

Key Features
  • Ultra-wide angle zoom lens
  • Excellent optics with true wide-angle coverage designed specifically for APS-C format EF-S bodies*
  • Three Aspherical lens elements
  • Super-UD lens element
  • EF-S Lens Mount*
  • Ring type USM (Ultrasonic Motor) provides superior AF performance and speed, with full-time manual focus by just turning the focus ring
  • Close-focusing to 9.5 inches, fill the frame with subjects as small as 3.6 x 5.4 inches
  • Allows dramatic ultra-wide angle perspective
  • Inner focusing system (no front element rotation); length doesn't change if zoomed
  • Circular aperture design for natural highlights
  • Compact size and weight
  • Uses the popular 77mm filter size

3-23-2021. What a nice surprise outside my bedroom in Colorado this morning. My cat Maury was watching something from the cat post in my bedroom so I looked outside.
