This was a got lucky, point and shoot, and just a little bit of editing photo. Love the zoom lens. The bird and all it's colors was a great subject. I'll be out looking for it again!

We went out today, no Mandarin Duck. We also went to the zoo (because we can do what we want all day, every day), and there was a Wood Duck among the mallards and other types of ducks. I'll see if I have any share worthy photos later.

Pic of adorable grandnieces at Halloween. The younger one is dressed as a fireperson. Her dad worked with the fire dept for awhile, then made a career change. The older one I think is a character from Aladdin.
