^6-7-2018. Costco gas in Laguna Niguel, CA. It's a lot more than Colorado. How about where you live?

Regular is $3.10 and premium is $3.85 (both have gone down since a week ago). The last time I bought gas premium was $1.25 more than regular at Shell! !

Colorado Costco has 85 and 91. My Pilot says to use 87 octane. The difference between the 85 and 91 there is about 40¢ a gallon (I think). Lately I've been filling up with both (50/50) since I was also getting 91 octane for my lawn mower. I'm so thrifty.

Aren't they all the same everywhere - regular, midrange, or premium? I always use regular in my truck and premium in the MG. With perhaps a few exceptions I think regular is just fine for almost anything on the road. I've never used midrange. The price of gas is something I don't normally pay any attention to. I would if it gets to $5 or $6/gal but still it is what it is.
