Think anyone would want to buy a photo of seagull feet?

I stopped by the local gift shop yesterday with a few things I had on hand. One of them was a local lighthouse printed on metal. It came out really nice. I had about $30.00 into it, and not sure how much anyone would be willing to pay for something like that. . Since the split on the sales is 60/40, things like a metal print would likely be a loser as far as me making a profit. I'll see what the owner says when she calls today. I also have had a few glass cutting boards made up with photos of them. I didn't have any with me, however, it would be something to different to display, and the woman I spoke with liked that idea, Again, my profit would be minimal or even a loss how much will a tourist pay for a cutting board?

I have ordered a few prints of some of my preferred photos, the five red fishing boats together, lobster vessel coming into port, etc. I was looking to provide her with something different than she already has on display vs, single vessels in photos. I did stick with the 8 x 10 and the 5 x 7. I too like larger sizes, but I wanted to keep my outlay of cash to a minimum right now. I can make a few bucks on prints. We'll see if anything even moves once the summer tourist season starts.

It is highly unlikely I would ever stand around a local craft fair or any type of venue to sell any photos. I like this set up, even though I won't make much $ of it, if any. The money isn't really the goal. It's just adding another dimension to the hobby. If I come out with enough $ to fill up the gas tank on one of the convertibles, and buy Rick a beer or two (he's most patient with this hobby) then I'll consider the endeavor a success.

In my downsizing attack this week I am going through old photo albums. Came across this one. It made me when I saw my big . We were driving back from the UP after spending a week in WI with another MGA couple. This was 1998. Donna's learned to pack much better and we don't even use the luggage rack any more. Still love the big shit-eating grin - - as you all know, nothing beats top-down motoring.

Not white. I bought that one for $200, stripped of paint and covered with rust. Spent 4 years restoring and drove it for 32 years till it made a sudden stop coming back from the Glen.
