Nice bird photos. Crystal clear detail. Gotta work on that. :/

The pictures in my bird book indicate it's an immature hawk, but the Cooper's hawk has a whiter breast than the one in your photo (great photo BTW). There is something called a Swainson's hawk that has a more golden breast and to me looks like the bird in the photo. The Cooper's hawk is shown as a threatened species, but it's an old book, so maybe they are not anymore.

You might be right, Deb. I went to Google Images and found a similar hawk that lived in the region and used that as a reference. Thanks...I'll look up your findings. It was very curious and not the least bit intimidated by my presence. And, yes, I believe it was a young hawk.

Thanks for the kind words on the hummingbird photo. The new format requires me to re-size my pics before sharing. . Camera files are larger than iphone files. Yet another step I guess more folks are using iphones for direct posting so perhaps using the IMG button isn't an issue.. Photobucket is no longer allowing file sharing. I thought I'd try shutter fly. However, the only links to images I can find is the one below.
https://pix.sfly.com/6RNZDc
But it's not an IMG but a link to the image. Click on it if you want to see a lovely 1958 Porsche.

I don't like clicking on blind links and I'm sure most folks don't. Has anyone figured out an easy way to upload share photos without the need to re-size, files?

^ Other than copy and paste from FB, I have no other suggestions. I'll do a little more research, but, I agree, it is a PIA. Here's one from your Facebook posting. Very nice, BTW!

Was that a '62 Chevy Impala SS? That's the year my cousin and I graduated from HS. He got one of those^ for his graduation. I got a suitcase, but our parents obviously were in different circumstances, so it really didn't bother me. He and I had some nice road trips to Myrtle Beach in his SS!

Gene, since I tend to share more photos on FB, the copy and past works the best. I forget about that. Newest Porsche at the museum

So like the Targa as long as they have fixed the noise/buffeting/vibration problem.
