Back from our trip to VT...I had hoped for better photos to share, but sometimes, things don't work out. We saw rolling green hills, beautiful farms, small quaint villages, even a fancy hotel or two (old but beautiful), just like Vintage women! We were often out in the harsher light of day, the scenery gorgeous, but sometimes, to me, the scene is just too large/grand to get the kind of photo I think would represent what I'm seeing, maybe that's lack of skill on my part. I was happy to keep clicking the shutter button anyway. Here's a few from the week.
Breweries are plentiful in VT. We managed to find a few that served food vs just beer tasting, and that worked out well. Here's a photo from one
Stopped at the Von Trapp Lodge (Sound of Music Von Trapps). Lovely views and gardens
The top of Mount Equinox had zero visibility. A bit lower we got this view. On a clear day it must be beautiful. I do love GREEN mountains!
And last, we had a ton of rain on the way home, but in between breaks of sun. We saw about six rainbows too! I managed to get this shot from the car.

Last shot is cool serendipity, Lainey. And thanks for sharing pics from my Dad's home state.

Thanks and you are welcome. What part of VT was your Dad from? We stayed in Rutland, headed up to Stowe one day and cruised up to Lake Champlain as well. We also saw a cool "swimming hole" at a marble quarry. Dorset I think. I'll share those later.

I should have bad photo days like those! Rain is a bummer but clearly you managed.
