Grant, can you set up an experiment with your crow and a peanut, and see if he/she can use tools? Like it would have to open a door to get it? IDK probably ideas on line. See this:

An egret with "wings up" photo has received a few thumbs up on FB. One of my former customers asked me to have some note cards printed for her. I supplied her with an assortment.




Yesterday we took a trip to the Cape. Seals were hanging out in Chatham, MA, near the fish pier. This is not one of the cutest seals I've ever seen...

I've posted before about the deer that live in the woods behind the house. Last night, while sitting out back, Dad finally showed up. I had the iPad with me so that's what you get. He's no more than 15-20 feet from me.
