Gary, it looks (to my untrained eye) like photos I've seen where a "lens baby" was used....lots of softness in the photo.
We dropped off my Jeep for a minor repair. Tire pressure sensor was reading from 7 psi to 101. Time for a new one. While it was being worked on, we walked three miles on the Cape Cod Canal then ate a picnic lunch.. After eating we headed to another area on the canal where the blue heron hang out and grab "take out" food. We saw three of them at once. Very cool. I took a ton of shots. Here's two favorites. Gabbed from FB so may be lacking resolution...

Wings up, head down, gone fishing....?

Gary, way out of my area of skill and creativity, but this is what some of the folks in a photo forum I was frequenting were raving about.
