Wow! Mammatus clouds.

Very cool! I don't think I've ever seen those kinds of clouds. They look like cotton balls.

Exactly my thoughts. They are almost common here this summer. That was a lot more at once, though!

Those are Mammatus or Mammatocumulus clouds.

A perfect summer day yesterday. Temps in 70's and low humidity. Hit the road in the S. Headed to the south shore. We usually go that way once a year. Great view from the top of a cemetery in Hull, MA. A bit hazy but two lighthouses in the photo and look, they left the light on for me. Just like Motel 6.


Last week took a stroll down the street to a plant nursery. Lots of roses for sale.

Rick called this Tequila Sunset. I was just about giving up on the sunset and it came back out from the clouds. Cropped (and a bit grainy) but I like it anyway.
