Cool stuff on the equipment. I didn't expect to continue using my first Rebel, but I do. It can be a PIA to switch lenses, so I often keep a lens on it in the event I want to grab a shot. I do see the difference in quality of image between the two cameras, so I try to keep one of the better lenses on the older camera. However, if I'm trying to get bird photos, the newer camera is my "go to" camera, along with the 100-400. The better sensor allows for more cropping while still maintaining decent resolution.

Yeah, changing lenses in mid-hike is a pain. So, one body has "normal" lens, the other a telephoto or zoom.

Took a couple of morning trips to Mt. Evans, CO recently and returned with a few pics. The high altitude (12,000 ft and above) tundra is now in bloom. It's small sized in height but has a powerful color. Mt. Evans' road is the highest paved road in North America at 14,130 ft. above sea level.
