I hadn't seen any elk in in my neighborhood about a week but this one who I've seen before, wearing a (tracking?) collar is still around. There was a herd of bulls here for weeks but they may have started back to Estes Park.

I think he was elected by the herd to wear a GPS unit so they could be sure to find their way back to the park.

Enjoyed our trip to the zoo yesterday. Photo books are complete.
Here's a few of the critters... The first monkey and the snow leopard photos are taken from behind the glass. Always a challenge. The bald eagle almost looks like he's in his natural environment. He was injured and unable to fly. Now resides at the zoo, along with another bald eagle and the golden eagle.

Thanks. Anyone notice the extra set of hands on the monkey? I think there was a baby hanging on.
