Thanks! Some of my photos do seem to lose something on the way here...just not as sharp as I think they are.

Oops lost my answer.

Your talent is just fine Dave. Did you shoot from inside the house? I usually am, maybe that's why I'm not getting quite what I want.

On this rainy afternoon I tried working with the processing program "Paint Shop Pro. I got a free copy when I purchased my camera this past summer. This was my second attempt with the program. Still failing badly. It's overwhelming. I know I can watch you tube videos, but I'm one who would do better with a class. Maybe I'll look into it at some point. Until then I'm still using Google Picasa and Photo Scape for my minor edits. Guess I'll just keep deleting the photos that could be "saved" with fancy processing.

What! Go outside to take bird photos. Is that an option? Oh, yeah, that was through the window. I'm lucky to find a camera when I see opportunity. In fact, the on/off switch no longer works on my best camera. I can turn it on but not off. I'm not as dedicated as some.

I need a bird blind so I can grab a few shots from outside. Rick is suggesting I call my local appliance guy and get a box from a refrigerator....

You're short! A washing machine box would do.

^That's a good illustration of camera quality.

^I try to keep my little point and shoot where I can pick it up when I see a bird outside but it's usually not there when I need it. Those blue jays are skittish and hard to catch.

^1-7-2019. My son and his wife were in the Chicago area for Christmas and my daughter and her boyfriend couldn't get any day off together, so Wednesday, the 9th, the family here is having Christmas. It doesn't feel like Christmas but it was good to buy ribbon at 75% off at Walmart. I already had the wrapping paper. I'm much more relaxed wrapping presents tonight then I would have been before Christmas. I didn't put up a Christmas tree this year but I bought one at about half price for next year. I hope I don't forget I've got it by next year, or actually it's this year.
